recent artwork   These works begin in curiosity (even obsession) and the desire to express a particular feeling, experience or thought. The form each piece takes depends on the idea behind it. I am continually fascinated by our relationship with the natural world and how we explain it (linguistically and visually), organize it (spatially), and sometimes misunderstand it. Many of these works also draw on the experiences and thoughts of others before me - authors, naturalists, filmmakers - and their own translations of curiosity into expression.
